Howdy! I'm Vi! The girl-creature behind this mess of a site. I find it hard to describe myself but I guess I'll try!
Self-confessed cringe-lord, mediocre artist & writer as well as novice webdev and game-maker from the midwestern united states, specifcally Appalachian Ohio. I like to dip my toes into any creative medium I find interesting, though I'm a jack of all trades - master of none.
I love all things gothic and macabre - espeically horror, blood and guts. anything filthy, disgusting and morbid is my specialty. i also have a interest in morturary science, medical stuff, taxidermy / vulture culture and general oddities such as cryptids and unexplained phenomena.
I have a major soft spot for the late 2000s - 2010s due to it not being afraid to have things be rough-around-the-edges. nowadays everything feels squeaky clean and gentle. I was born to a family that raised me on 2000s gothy edge and angst.
My hobbies (not just writing and drawing, obvs...) include video editing, photography, thrifting, general mayhem, birdwatching, fashion, fishing and going through long walks through the deep wilderness. my favorite textures are leather, latex and cold tile and steel (espeically the medical and industrial kind!). my favorite sights are medical tools, industrial factories, abandoned buildings and human connective tissue.
